It is with great pleasure that we inform you that we have just finished installing a new telephone system. The features on the guest room phone are as follows; wake-up calls, speed dial to various services, such as; events, museums, bank, taxi, front desk, spa/beauty, dining and of course emergencies. In addition we also have a message waiting feature on the phones.

All local and long distance calls are free.

On another operational note that enhances our guest service, we are pleased to announce that we have installed Four Cup Coffee makers in all our rooms, they are accompanied by, Regular coffee, Decaf. Tea and of course all the condiments. At the same time we have placed two glasses in addition to the plastic cups, in each room, makes the Chardonnay taste better.

Our summer bookings are very positive indeed with many weekends and special events already filling up. If you are planning to come to Williamstown and stay with us, we recommend that you make your reservations now.

We will, of course post news of what is going on at Maple Terrace here on a regular basis and invite our visitors to participate.

Well, and welcome to the  first day of spring, it certainly felt like it with temperatures in the 50′s and splendid sunshine.

We have started to clean up the yard and our gardens after this, very heavy winter. We still do have some snow (read ice) in some areas, almost Glacial.

We are pleased to announce that we have installed coffee makers and all that there-to belong, in all our rooms, the apartments excempted as they have a full kitchen and alway had a large coffee maker.

We are presently working with companies in the area for installation of new carpets in the rooms, we are still in the planning and decorating stage and have not appointed any one company for the job.

Our beloved Willie (dog) left us in June to our great sorrow, to replace her is of course impossible. After long debates about to have and have not, we have a new friend from a shelter in Georgia via an affiliated shelter in New York state (Red Hook). Her name is Contessa, “Tessa” for short, adorable, but is of course learning to beg, Please don’t  feed her.

We have also started to allow dogs, first come, first served, in a few rooms. one specific room with a queen size bed and one with two double beds. Although we have a central vacuum cleaning system, we want to know exactly where we have had a dog, for our guests with strong allergies.
